This is a really fun photo project! My fabulous sister in law started it and I am SO glad! It is such a nice memory of our "every day life". Tomorrow the link up starts at her blog...and you can still participate! There's a whole week left in August! So grab your camera and get busy! you still have a couple days to join in!
My day begins with a smile! A big huge Judah sized smile! The best!
Now that bubby isn't taking a morning nap we actually get him dressed right away in the morning...his closet is fun, I just love picking out a cute little boy outfit every single day!
I've been leaving this book in Judah's crib at night so he has it nearby when he wakes up, today he wanted me to read it to him before we got him out of bed. So cute!
He loves turning the pages the most I think :)
He's getting so LONG! look at that cute little body!
Judah's favorite game is to sit behind me on the couch and then I lean on him...he giggles his little head off...it is hilarious...we stopped for a quick game before breakfast.
I love those giggles!
Judah eats one or two nana's every single morning. He. Loves. Them.
Normally he sits in his high chair but today he climbed on his own into a big boy chair.
And then he stood up on the big boy chair and tried to climb on the table. lol.
tomorrow he'll be back to his high chair.
Looks like daddy-o is awake...see his hand blocking me from taking his pic? hehe
Judah thinks when daddy wakes up it is TIME TO PLAY! woot woot!
way to cute!
I checked my email and did my morning Swag, I am half way to earning enough money on amazon for a nice ipod. If you haven't checked it out yet you should!
Time for a little brushy brushy!
Isn't his little stool so cute?! He loves climbing up and playing at the sink.
He's such a big boy!
Look at all those teefers! He's gotten 6 more teeth since last months Day in July
And now he wants me to pick him up...
And when I don't do it right away he "expresses" himself. hehe.
I picked him up, I'm a sucker for that little face.
Lance is up and making some coffee...it is Saturday and he goes back to work later today, so a little liquid steel will get him going and ready for whatever the day holds!
Judah already ate, but he loves having a few bites of my cheerios too.
Lance and Judah are off to take our car to get some work done. Errands with daddy are fun!
Off they go! Which means I have a little time to myself! yay!
I took a nice shower all by myself! I got new cutey cute shorts that I am modeling here...and do you like my counter top? It is a mess. I need to get organized. ha!
The boys are back and so is Ruff :)
Judah was watching his daddy do yard work.
Till I stuck him in his play pen to watch veggie tales while I did my own work!
Saturday's are for mowing yards!
I was inside doing dishes and cleaning up our kitchen.
We love our coffee mugs, it is one of Lance's collections. He gets them from cities that are significant to him or to us. It is helpful that they are all different, when we have people over everyone knows what coffee cup is theirs!
I also put some things together to go into the mail.
I love a fresh envelope with a clean stamp and our cute little address labels on them.
I decided that was enough TV for the kid and I think this picture is proof also that I was right.
I figured Judah could "help" me make our bed.
He "helped" for a while and ended up bonking his head...
but never fear! when he needs to stop crying mama is ready.
Judah says "nu nu nu" when he wants to nurse for a while.
Now he's all better and ready to play again!
Doesn't our bed look so pretty? :)
Next up is lunch...a little sandwich and a peach all chopped up. Judah loves him some PB&J.
hahahaha!
Lunch was a hit!
Lance wasn't smiling but that usually means he is loving his lunch too :)
Next up story time! This is one of Judah's favorite books,
it has little pieces that pull out which he loves doing over and over and over and over...
This little airplane is a favorite of Judah's...usually he
just pushes it around, today he actually hopped on!
I was sitting in the living room checking my email or something and little man came by for a quick kiss :) I never get a picture of the actual kiss, it's so quick!
Lance pulled everything out of the car so we could organize it and make sure it really should be in the car...which it pretty much all went back into the car...it is my tool kit of distraction!
Lance's turn to read some stories!
A little PX90 to work on the little man's muscles...I think his little abs got more of a work out from all the giggles than the actual pull up bar. haha!
He didn't really want to grab onto the bar but he still thought it was fun!
Time for a little shopping trip! Judah has his own cell.
cell phone and sippy. bliss.
They are having the BEST sales right now.
Lance is a super shopper! He was off like a shot! And he got lots of great deals!
The loot!
The dance of shopping joy!
I admit, I shopped some too :) I could NOT resist buying my niece Evie a couple things...they were perfectly her style and I spent a whopping 10$...man I love a good sale!
The boys decided to do a little yard work when we got home.
And by "do yard work" I mean "run through the sprinkler fully clothed"
and try to shoot mommy with the water hose. oh man!
I ran inside to grab some bug repellant...Judah was getting eaten alive. although, he only gets a teensy tiny little red dot..no bump, no itchy mosquito bite...I don't know what that is about. He did NOT get that from me. I swell up big time when I get bit. Lance never even gets bit. No fair. But anyhow...they stopped making this Off Botanicals and I am sad cause it is one of the only things that has ever helped me be able to go outside when the skeeters are out.
Lance was checking to see what time he needed to leave for work.
Babies who run through sprinklers in their clothes get to run around
nakey when they come inside! Can you tell he likes it?
nakey baby on the loose!
I put a onsie on him finally and he found his way to his daddy's closet while
daddy was getting packed and dressed and ready for work.
Handsome Lance ready for work!
One last snuggle before he leaves.
Judah had a little dinner while daddy was getting ready to leave.
we eat fancy around here.
good bye hugs
tears make our eyes blurry when dad leaves
One last good bye
I hate to see him leave, but I love to watch him go :) wink wink
"where's daddy go?" say Bye Bye to daddy!
Daddy turns around one more time for a last wave!
And when we head back indoors I find this...I don't even know when Judah got to my purse. figures!
We had a little snuggle on the couch and then realized it was starting to storm!
We love to sit in the rocking chair on our porch and listen to the thunder roll!
Judah wants his own twitter account.
he likes to move his fingers over the keys like he sees us do...
Time to go "ni-ni"
He grabs his blankie and pulls it through the crib...and of course he bites it...
he loves to bite his blankie!
Turning on the noise machine with our toes! baby J helps!
Time for some "nu nu nu" before sleepy time.
He snuggled right in tonight
(did you notice there was no nap today? that is called livin' on the edge!)
I finished the night off watching some Bridezilla (terrible show) and ordering my
Nephew Beck his birthday present! He is turning 5 and I got him a subscription to
National Geographic for Kids. I hope he likes it!
It was a wonderful family day!
