Flower Girl Dresses

Okay.

All along I've wanted my 3 beautiful flower girls to wear smocked dresses. Or float dresses. You know what I mean? I think they are timeless and I thought that the girls could wear them again (to church, etc.) See the pic below for an example (of course, they'd be in white)

However, when I stumbled across this find on Etsy, I just had to do a double take!

It's a tu-tu dress. I emailed the creator asking her if I could have the dress without the flower, and she said of course. I can either do it with straps (shown above) or in a halter style (see below).

I just love that it's in black and white polka dots.

I think this dress is just fun and magical. I think my nieces would just love it. I might put my other flower girl, Ansley, in a different dress. She's older, and I'm not sure if she'd like it or not. But, maybe she would!

Thoughts...smocked dress or tu-tu dress?
