Bummyup Grows Up

Last weekend I dropped Ava off at two art-type classes, and she did great!  I couldn't believe it.  The first class was the first in a three-week series through the Mountain View Recreation Department.  $21 for the whole series.  (I like that fact.)  The class is called Busy Builders, and each week they do something building-related.  The first week they used paint rollers.  The second week they will make bricks from sand and glue.  The third week they will make log cabins with popsicle sticks.

Storytime at Busy Builders:

I snapped this photo of Ava painting after I had dropped her off:

We ran some errands, and then we went to a one-time Origami Workshop at another local center. There were three little girls in the class, and Ava loved it!  I was able to peek in through the window, but she couldn't see me.  And she sat at the table and happily did origami with the teacher the whole time.
