Both Helbe the elven thief and Sephiryn the elemental slightly flinch as the first mageglobe within the tower of the Dagahir society explodes, sending pieces of stone and mortar along with timber and parts of a brass and iron mechanism flying out of the south facing side of the tower about three quarters of the way up, then they watch in silence as the mageglobes explode quickly one after another, starting on the southside of the tower then circling around it going to the east facing wall, the north then finally to the west. By the forest gods would you look at that, Helbe the elven thief thinks to himself as he watches a large twisted and bent iron cog go flying hundreds of feet into the air above the tower and fall down onto the street infront of the tower "I wonder what that was?" murmurs Sephiryn the elemental who is the first to break their silence as a large part of the east facing side of the tower containing long iron chains aswell cogs, pinions and wheels pops out and drops down thru the cloud of steam around the bottom quarter of the tower, then crash thru the roof of the building to the right of the tower "Probably used for getting about within the walls" is Helbes murmured reply, then they watch as what's left of the top quarter of tower tips to the right (east) and falls down in what starts of in basically one piece then breaks apart as it falls. At the western end of the street, next to the corner of a building, squad leader Legadema does flinch in surprise as the first mageglobe explodes followed by the others in quick succession, while next to her, justice Ciffyd of the city guard mutters "Bloody hell" Legadema clears her throat then says "Lucky we didn't go and have a look sir" the sorcerer Ciffyd nods his head yes and says "Lucky alright" the justice silently adds, well that's right and truly stuffed up the Dagahir society, i wonder what they'll do now? Both Shur Kee the monk and Zubutai the barbarian hordesman walk from the alley they're in when they hear the first mageglobe explode and the crowd of people infront of the small tavern start pointing to the south at the tower that houses the Dagahir society which is over a half a mile away "Bru Li" murmurs Shur Kee as they see the top part of the tower exploding sending debris flying in all directions. By the tundra gods, Zubutai silently thinks to himself as many of the people gasp in shock as what's left of the top quarter of the tower topples sideways and falls out of sight while what's left of the tower that's still standing starts collapsing on itself, the hordesman glances to his right and sees an old woman standing not that far away from him, the woman is staring at both the hordesman and the tower in the distance, the old woman who Zubutai would describe as a croon looks startled as she notices the hordesman looking at her, then she turns around and starts walking quickly up the street heading north, Zubutai frowns as the woman who is well beyond seventy years old age walks erect and smoothly as thou she was much younger "What was that?" murmurs Zubutai as he watches in which direction the old woman is heading "Did you say something friend Zubutai?" asks Shur Kee "I'll tell you about it later" replies the hordesman who looks back towards the tower which is now shrouded in a cloud of dust and small debris. As lord Farque with the bounty hunter Larinov over his right shoulder moves quickly thru the disused sewer system that runs to and from the tower of the Dagahir society, he senses and hears the mageglobes exploding and as the walls and ceilings of the abandoned sewers start shaking, the lord listens to the tower breaking apart and falling down, the loudest noise he hears is when the remains of the top quarter of tower falls to the side and lands on the building directly to the right of the tower, the building which is already severely damaged is almost flattened when the top part of the tower falls on it. "Fucken get some" murmurs Dorc da Orc with a large grin on his face as he along with Mira the mage, Carice Reinholt and Kull the ork weaponsmaster who are all standing on the roof of a building at the eastern end of the street watch the tower of the Dagahir society being destroyed "Krom" murmurs Kull with a chuckle as debris goes flying in all directions as the mageglobes explode "Look the cunt is gonna fall" says Dorc just before what's left of the top quarter of the tower topples and crashes into the building that he and Kull were in earlier. I knew more of it would collapse, Mira thinks to himself as what's left of the tower that is still standing starts falling down on itself, sending a cloud of mortar dust and fine debris flying everywhere to mix with the steam cloud around the base of the tower, the strange sight of a ground level cloud can be seen for miles in every direction, and those people on the streets and on top of buildings are able to see where the sounds of the explosions are coming from . . . . . .
