I purchased the unit about a week ago and have about 5 hours on it - rough-sanding paint & wood on my porch. I have had no issues with belt tracking, but I use quality belts. Bad belts = bad tracking. I also don't use a lot of pressure, which tends to get it hot when the motor lugs down. But with moderate pressure and constant movement, it makes quick work of my job. The lift-up cover on the front works great for sanding the underside of overhanging boards.

The dust bag worked for about one bag-full, but missed 80% of the dust. Then I emptied it, and it hasn't worked at all since. It is a real pain to stop working every few minutes, get out the shop-vac, and clean up the piles of dust. The instructions mention an adapter for a shop-vac, but I can find nothing on the net to attach it to a shop-vac.

This unit is OK for occasional use, but I don't feel it would hold up to heavy or prolonged use. It is about what I expected for 1/3 of the price of a heavy-duty model. Click!!
