Today Luboš Motl blogged about Vinay Deolalikar's claimed proof of P ≠ NP. I left a couple of comments that were skeptical just on the basis of Deolalikar's cover letter, and you can follow the link above to go read them, if interested. But mainly I wanted to point this out: Someone called Shawn Halayka defends Deolalikar and attacks me, saying

Rigour's nice, but when someone's been given a gift of something that they do not have the skill to create by themselves, then complaining about the wrapping that the gift came in is kind of ridiculous... Jason, you better hope and pray that I've miscounted here, because if I am indeed correct, then you're next on my list of people to professionally annihilate, right after I take care of Baez once and for all.

If you click Shawn's name you'll see from reading his older comments that he's generally against me, Martin Klicken, and John Baez. Shawn has a Web site with the cute name cavekitty.ca. The list of his seven manuscripts there explains his antipathy to El Naschie Watch.
